Proctor’s Fall Family Weekend Returns After Two-Year Hiatus

Perfect weather and welcome connections

For the first time in two years, Proctor Academy hosted its annual Fall Family Weekend from October 7 to 9. Perfect weather framed a weekend filled with much-needed connection for Proctor’s parents and families: to the school, to their children, to our faculty and staff, to each other, and to the town of Andover and surrounding area.

Days with bright blue skies, temperatures in the low 70s, no bugs, and a light breeze only happen so often in New England!

Like peak foliage, adolescence comes and goes before we know it. Our challenge is to grant ourselves permission to just stop, close our eyes, and let the warm October sun warm us as we enjoy these golden moments.

From the time families began to arrive on campus on Thursday afternoon for the 31st Annual Proctor Invitational Golf Tournament until they left after Saturday’s final athletic games, they felt welcomed and at home in this beautiful corner of the world. This time in our students’ lives is precious, and we feel fortunate to have been able to share a window into their lives at Proctor with their families.

Thank you, Town of Andover and local businesses, for embracing a crowd of visiting families during Proctor’s Fall Family Weekend. Your hospitality was noticed and appreciated by all.
