Road Agent’s Report
Neil Delorey came in to ask about the Hart property. He would like to buy the property because his wife has emotional ties to the small building on the property since she played there as a child. The BoS stated they have to follow the bid process. Mr. Delorey understood. He asked the BoS to leave the building up until the purchaser is determined. Due to liability issues there is a signed work order for the demolition of the building and the well. Mr. Delorey will work with the Road Agent.
Gravel Crushing: BoS signed work order for gravel crushing at the Transfer Station. Equipment to be used: two loaders, an excavator, a bulldozer, a cone crusher, and a screener. Keith Babb will provide the crusher and the screener; J&B Landscaping will provide the bulldozer. Mark Thompson Excavating will provide an excavator and a loader. J&B Landscaping will provide a loader. Total cost of $26,300. Selectman Danforth moved to approve work order. Selectman Coolidge seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
A work session was scheduled for Friday morning at 9 AM.
Electronic Bill Payment
Municipal software will allow for electronic bill payment, which will save money.
Shirley Currier, Treasurer, shared her concerns about being sure the software program will allow a very specific reconciliation process and that check numbers will be available if research is required. Tatjana Donovan, bookkeeper/accountant, spoke to the efficiency of this process.
ZBA Issue
The Board asked the Town Administrator to send a letter to ZBA asking them if all procedures have been followed in the building on the Pellerin property. The building seems to exceed the original footprint. There are concerns regarding compliance. The Board feels this warrants immediate attention due to legal time constraints.
The meeting adjourned at 7:50PM
