I believe that my passion for education, as well as my experience as a Paraprofessional, Math Interventionist, Classroom Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Case Manager has sufficiently and thoroughly prepared me for excelling in the School Board position currently open in Andover.

Having experience as an educator, in various positions, in a range of primary grade levels has prepared me with an understanding of effective classroom strategies that help students succeed. With my variety of experience I have extensive insight on what it takes when working with students. I have an uncompromising view that all students can learn, given a positive learning atmosphere that welcomes exploration and enhances student confidence.

As a teacher, I facilitate student learning through using creative, intentional, and research-based strategies that support the personal, physical, social, and academic development of every child. This is accomplished through collaborative planning and preparation of interdisciplinary, appropriately-sequenced lessons aligned to instructional goals, while remaining flexible and incorporating student choice.

I am a passionate, creative, and energetic educator. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to help support the school-based decisions for the Andover School District. I could be an asset, as well as significantly contribute to the vision and goals that will help prepare Andover’s students for the 21st century workforce. If elected, I will strive to be nothing less than a great advocate who will continue to grow every year and be a positive influence for our children.
