I was appointed to the Budget Committee this past fiscal year because of the six at-large positions, only two were filled by election; four had to be appointed by the Select Board.  I offered to be part of the committee because of my background in non-profit accounting and having grown up in Andover.

This was an eye-opening experience, working with an amazing group of people with diverse backgrounds and opinions, as we worked for five months to review the School District and Town budgets, question expenses and increases in requests, and, after many discussions among ourselves, come to a consensus on budgets to present to voters at the School District and Town meetings.  I would like to continue on this committee and would appreciate your vote on March 8, 2022.  Thank you.
