Hi, I’m Jim Delaney, Sr. and I’m running for Selectman. Most of you know me but I’ll enter my qualifications. I have served three years on the Zoning Board;

three years on the School Board; three years on the Budget Committee; and three years as a Selectman. I was also the first Recreation Director in Andover.

In my three years as Selectman we established the Highway Department, and we also managed to keep the tax rate increase at a modest 1% to 3%.  In those three years, I made it possible for loggers to do their work when there were obstacles in their way, as well as help people build on property they owned on Class 6 roads. I represented everyone in Andover, not just a few, so I would appreciate your vote on election day. Thank you.
