Indian Museum Seeks Volunteers for Indoor and Outdoor Opportunities

Volunteers are essential to our programs

By Barbara Lassonde

The Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner will be opening for the season on Sunday, May 1, and is looking for volunteers. Positions include a variety of indoor and outdoor opportunities, from lending a hand for a few hours with an event, to helping on a regular basis in the gift shop, gardening, overseeing building maintenance, or helping to plan events.

“This is a wonderful museum, which, in addition to its educational exhibits, offers a varied blend of events, arts, and traditions common in Native American culture,” said Barbara Lassonde, Volunteer Coordinator. “Our volunteers are essential in order to maintain our high-quality offerings. With volunteer contributions, we are able to host programs and events that help make us the sixth best Native American Museum in the country.”
