“Around Our Town in 80 Years” is the Fourth of July Parade Theme

2022 plans in full swing

By Andover Fourth of July Committee

The Fourth of July Committee is working to put on the best event ever. One of the highlights of our celebration is the parade, started by the Blackwater Grange in 1942, 80 years ago.

Speaking of 80 years ago, that’s our theme for 2022 …” Around Our Town in 80 Years.” Andover’s parade consists of a color guard, children’s parade, bands, floats, animals, and vehicles. We went back into our photo archives to find some fun pictures of years past. We hope you enjoy them!

Anyone who would like to join our committee, please come to a meeting. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month at the Andover Community Hub at 7 PM.
