The Kearsarge Lake Sunapee Community Food Pantry (KLSCFP) is a non-profit committed to individuals and families needing food assistance in the Kearsarge Lake Sunapee area.  We are located in the rear of the First Baptist Church at 461 Main Street in New London.  

The pantry is open on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 PM and on Saturdays from 10 AM to noon. People can come weekly.  We serve those who live in Andover, Wilmot, Newbury, Sunapee, Springfield, New London, Sutton, Warner, Bradford, Danbury, and Salisbury.

During this time of rising food prices and food insecurity, we are fortunate to have good nutritious food in our food pantry.  We have multiple food sources, and our volunteer “shoppers” who buy food at our local supermarkets.  

At the food pantry you will find meat, milk, eggs, butter, cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as nonperishables such as canned soup, chicken or tuna, baked beans, cereal, tomato sauce, pasta, and locally grown fruits and vegetables.  Our goal is to find nutritious, tasty food which we all enjoy.

Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic we have been serving people in their cars but hope to change that soon to allow everyone to come back inside to see what is available.  Our volunteers try to assure our clients that they are welcome at the food pantry for as long as they need assistance.

The only requirement for shopping at KLSCFP pantry is that you bring some proof that you live in one of the above towns. It could be a driver’s license, a rent receipt, a gas or electric bill, or something similar. We do not ask for financial information, nor do we share information about our clients with anyone else.
