Final Senior Luncheon of the Season Held in April

Hope to resume in the fall

On April 21, about 30 seniors attended the last Kearsarge Area Senior Luncheon of the spring season at the First Congregational Church in Wilmot Center.  Everyone enjoyed the hearty meatball supper and cookies followed by Mother Quinlan (aka Judy Lowe) reading a letter to her son. We had a good laugh at Mother Quinlan’s jokes. When it was time to go, we grabbed our door prizes, free books from the Wilmot Public Library, complimentary breakfast bags, and frozen dinners-to-go and headed home. The six sponsors of the Kearsarge Area Senior Luncheons are very pleased to have been able to host this last luncheon of the spring season. Hopefully luncheons will resume in the fall and continue through the cold months into 2023.  Fingers are crossed. Photo and caption: Lindy Heim
