The Bone Builders class at the Andover Community Hub is now up and running and welcoming new participants after a lengthy break when the building was closed during COVID.

The twice-weekly class meets in-person at the Hub every Monday and Thursday from 9 to 10 AM and is aimed primarily at men and women aged 55 and above.  The class focuses on exercises that develop strength and balance in order to help prevent falls and keep older bones strong.

Area residents are welcome to join the class at any time but are asked to have a physician’s OK in writing before they begin using the hand or leg weights available at class.  There’s no charge for the class, although small donations are welcome.

The Hub’s drop-in Coffee Hour and the informal card games of the Andover Card Sharks begin at 10 AM, also on Mondays and Thursdays, so those are good days to stop in and see what the Hub is all about!  For more information, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or leave a message at 603 735-5509.
