The Kearsarge Area Chamber of Commerce (KACC) is supporting the services of the Andover Fish and Game with a donation of $200 for their annual barbecue fundraiser.
“These types of community events foster community spirit and are what make the Kearsarge Area such a wonderful place to live and work“ says Dan Watts, KACC President.
The Andover Fish and Game Club is a non-profit charitable organization which promotes the great outdoors to the younger generation and supports conservation efforts to protect the environment. The club raises funds for activities, which include a kids’ ice fishing derby, hunter education, firearms safety demonstrations, and scholarships for two to three children each year to attend the Barry Conservation Camp in Berlin, New Hampshire, where they learn about camping, hunting, fishing, and more. The Club also stocks local lakes and ponds and supports conservation efforts in the surrounding area.
The Kearsarge Area Chamber of Commerce consists of over 170 member businesses, artisans and non-profits located between New London and Concord. Members participate in educational workshops and networking events, while the Chamber assists them in promoting their businesses.
