The coffeehouse on Friday, September 16, at the Highland Lake Grange Hall, will feature Decatur Creek, made up of Doug Farrell, Jack Henry, and Beth Eldridge, all accomplished New Hampshire-based musicians and singer/songwriters.

After a two-year break during the pandemic, with only sporadic Zoom or outdoor performances in the interim, the Andover Community Coffeehouse will be back in its usual space at the Highland Lake Grange Hall in East Andover on Friday, September 16.

The featured performers will be Decatur Creek, made up of Doug Farrell, Jack Henry, and Beth Eldridge, all accomplished New Hampshire-based musicians and singer/songwriters who keep up a busy schedule of playing around New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts.

Music will begin at 7 PM, although the Grange Hall doors will open at 6 PM for simple supper food and beverage purchases, for sound checks, and for open mic sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis.

Decatur Creek will lead off with a 35-minute set and come back on stage around 8:30 PM to close out the evening.  In between, up to a half-dozen open-mic performers from the area will perform two songs each.

Admission is free, although the hat will be passed and donations, most of which go to the featured performers, are much appreciated and gratefully accepted.

The Andover Community Coffeehouse, now an arm of the Andover Community Hub, was in its fifth year of providing live music evenings on the third Friday of each month, September through June, when it had to close down due to COVID in March, 2020.  To learn more about the Coffeehouse as well as Decatur Creek and earlier featured performers, visit AndoverCoffeehouse.org.  For general questions or directions, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com.
