Donna M. Wiggin, 80, passed away on August 14, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Donna was a lifetime resident of Andover and graduated from Andover High School in 1959.
Donna was one of nine children and understood that money is not as important as the love of your family, which she instilled in her children. Donna’s greatest pleasures in life were being surrounded by her family, traveling, baking, gardening, reading, watching her birds, and solving her daily crossword puzzles up until the day she passed.
Donna worked many years managing convenience stores, but her lifetime passion was caring for the elderly for over 30 years, where she was beloved by all. She worked with Alzheimer’s residents for over half of that time, and she always went to and from work with a smile on her face. We knew she was a “gift,” and so did her residents.
Donna’s proudest accomplishment was raising her five children, who loved and adored her. She taught them that Family Is Everything.
Donna was predeceased by her father, Donal R. Miller; her mother, Marjorie C. Miller; and her beloved sister, Diana R. Bliss. She is survived by her children: Terri (Kevin) Cook of Alexandria, Traci (Brent) Farrell of Wilmot, Trisha (Rob) Simpson of Enfield, Tina (Craig Sherman) Walker of Sunapee, and her favorite son, Johnathan (Casey A.) Wiggin of Salisbury; her grandchildren: Tiki Walker, Josh (Emily) Judkins, Chris Huntoon, Cam Huntoon, Robert Simpson, Tristin (Josh) Fisher, Brett Simpson, Tess Jewell, McCartney Cahill, Mackenzie Wiggin, McHale Cahill, and Wyatt Wiggin; her great-grandchildren: Trever, Gracelyn, Trey, Trenton, Dayvanee, Griffin, Taylor, Finnigan, Taylin, and Fallon; and her siblings: Sharon (Ray) Waldo, Beverly Seeley, Donal Miller, Jr., Melanie Lord, Penny (Gary) Walker, Michael (Carol) Miller, Sr. and Lisa Russell. There are also many, many nieces and nephews.
Her family would be remiss if they did not thank her former son-in-law, Arthur Judkins, for the care and love he showed her over the years, especially the last few. Also, a special thank you to her sister, Melanie, for her longtime companionship.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Andover Rescue Squad, PO Box 61, Andover NH 03216.
Please join Donna’s family at a Celebration of Life on Sunday, September 4, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Wilmot Community Center on 64 Village Road in Wilmot.
