My name is Dan Innis. I am a businessperson, professor of Marketing and Hospitality Management at the University of New Hampshire (UNH), entrepreneur, and owner of Trails End Farm in Bradford.
I am also the former Dean of the Paul College of Business and Economics at UNH, and I have founded, owned, and operated several New Hampshire businesses, including two inns and a hotel.
I have had a successful career as an educator and small business owner, and yet I always sought to return to my family’s heritage of local farming. Several years ago, I purchased the former Battles Farm in Bradford, and renamed it Trail’s End, after my grandfather’s farm. The 18-month restoration project is now nearing completion.
I am a lifelong conservative Republican. Following the shutdowns of the pandemic and the economic crisis caused by poor policies in Washington, I decided to run for the New Hampshire State Senate to focus on improving our economic climate and helping to grow good-paying jobs in rural New Hampshire, to protect our constitutional freedoms, to preserve our New Hampshire traditions, and keep our taxes low and government small.
My focus is on getting inflation under control and working to lower grocery, gas, and energy costs for New Hampshire families. Also, critically important to me is working to make sure our small businesses, so important in District 7, have the ability to compete and grow, helping our state to become even stronger.
I reside in Bradford and have three children, all UNH graduates.
