Fishing Derby Nets Sunshine, Fish, and Many Participants

Andover Fish and Game Club’s Ice Fishing Derby adult first place winner, with a 4.10 pound, 19″ Brook, was Bill Coulter.

Andover Fish and Game Club’s Annual Ice Fishing Derby was held on February 5. The weather turned out to be perfect for fishing. We had a great turn out, with about 120 participants. We would like to thank everyone for all the support!

Adult Division Winners
1st: Bill Coulter, 4.10 lb, 19″ Brook
2nd: Robert Frost, 3.60 lb, 18″ Brook
3rd: Dave Childs, 3.55 lb, 18″ Brook
4th: Eric Beauchmin, 3.40 lb, 17¾” Brook
Door Prize: Insulated Igloo Cooler, Jacob Carnvale

Youth Division Winners

The Youth Division first place winner, with a 3.10 pound, 17.5″ Brook, was Caleb Skoog.


1st: Caleb Skoog, 3.10 lb, 17½” Brook
2nd: Walker Barton, 2.60 lb, 16¾” Brook
3rd: Evan Koes, 1.15 lb, 16″ Rainbow
4th: Logan King, 70lb, 12¾”  Rainbow
Door Prize: Hand Auger, Addy Webber

The 50/50 pot was $816, so the lucky winner got $408: Rachel Wassman. The other $408 will be donated to our Memorial Scholarship Fund.
