RSA 41:8 “The selectmen shall manage the prudential affairs of the town and perform the duties by law prescribed.” That is, to carry out the policies adopted by Town Meeting and to attend to ordinary Town business.

Sounds pretty simple and straightforward. But, having attended Select Board meetings for the past year and a half, I can attest to the fact that Select Board members work hard and share the burden of addressing Town Meeting decisions and all the unknown issues that surface. 

I am running for Select Board knowing what is required of each member and working hard to be sure to acknowledge the citizens’ expectations.  I encourage citizens to review bi-weekly agendas and show up to give the Board information and opinions about agenda items.
