Here’s hoping everyone had a great winter. I’m certainly ready for spring!
My new Deputy Town Clerk/Tax Collector, Cindy, has gone through her DMV training and has been thrown into the mix of motor vehicle registrations along with dog licensing. She will be attending more classes soon.
Renewal notices pertaining to dog licensing have gone out. All dogs must be licensed prior to April 30. You will see that the notice indicates the expiration date of the rabies certificate we currently have on file. If that date is prior to 2022, or there is no date, please make sure you have a current rabies certificate with you. If you had a dog that has, unfortunately, passed away within the last five years, please contact me so I can remove them from our database. I can be reached at 603 487-6795 or you can email me at tctc@nullandover-nh.gov.
Please remember that when you are registering a vehicle, the person(s) that the vehicle is going to be titled to must come in to process the original registration. Also, if you are transferring plates, please make sure that you bring in the current registration for the vehicle you traded or sold – do not give it to the person that purchased the vehicle if a private sale, or to the dealership if the vehicle was traded in. If you have lost your registration, you can purchase a duplicate registration, for a fee, to do your transaction.
Also, when registering a vehicle, per RSA 261:148, it is a State law that you present a current, valid license for any motor vehicle transaction you come in to do. Also – if your license is expired, you cannot register your vehicle. If you have lost your license, you will have to get a replacement to register a vehicle.
Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 AM until 2 PM, and Tuesday from 1:30 – 6:30 PM. We are no longer open on the last Saturday of the month.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your Town Clerk/Tax Collector. I appreciate your confidence in me.
