June 4 fundraiser supports mission

Press release
Harper, a 6-year-old Basset Hound/Beagle mix, found her forever home in 2021, after being adopted from the Franklin Animal Shelter.

The Franklin Animal Shelter, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for and advocating for the abused, neglected, and abandoned cats and dogs of the greater Franklin community, is excited to be holding their 9th Annual 5K Fun Run, sponsored by Watts Water Technologies. This yearly event is a fundraising initiative to help keep operations stable and support the Shelter’s mission.

This year’s 5K will take place on Monday, June 4 at Paul Smith Elementary School in Franklin, with a start time of 9 AM. A pre-race warmup, led by Fierce Spirit Fitness, will commence at 8:30 AM. Your registration also includes a complimentary post-race beer, redeemable at Kettlehead Brewing’s Tilton and Franklin locations, and a complimentary product from Granite State Dairy Promotion.

The Franklin Animal Shelter is seeking both sponsors and registrants for this event. Information can be found at franklinanimalshelter.com/5k.

As always, the Board of Directors and Shelter staff want to thank the generous people in the communities they serve. The Franklin Animal Shelter could not exist without its supporters, and they are thankful to everyone who participates in their fundraising events.
