Thank you to all who braved Arctic wind chill in February, and an unexpected snowstorm in March, to enjoy a warm welcome at our “Humanities to Go” programs supported by a grant from the New Hampshire Humanities Council. Writer and humorist Rebecca Rule presented “I have a story to tell you” in February – by candlelight when the power failed – and archaeologist Robert Goodby shared his experiences “Digging into Native History” in March. Now we are choosing future programs from a tantalizing list of possibilities, so please watch our Facebook page and church sign for coming attractions.
We are grateful for everyone who participated in our traditional Maundy Thursday/Tenebrae and Easter Sunrise services. On Easter morning the wind was brisk and the frost was like snow, but the sunrise was splendid, a reminder of hope in challenging times.
