Deborah Aylward’s View from Concord

The House finished its sessions on June 29, but that does not mean representatives can necessarily take a vacation. The filing dates for bills are September 11 through the 15th, which means the next few weeks could be dedicated to preparation, and, of course, constituent services are ongoing.

Deborah Aylward – State Representative

Constituent services may involve various non-legislative activities whereby representatives can help with navigating state bureaucracy, for example. If there is a local governance issue, such may warrant legislative change that must be submitted by the deadline. If you have questions or concerns involving government agencies, or have a suggestion for a legislative matter, please contact me to discuss the possibility.

I’d like to leave you with a quote to ponder from a prolific thinker, Thomas Sowell: “Sometimes it seems as if there are more solutions than problems. On closer scrutiny, it turns out that many of today’s problems are a result of yesterday’s solutions.”

Thank you for allowing me to represent you, and I hope you enjoy your summer fun!  Deborah.Aylward@nullleg.state.nh.us or 603 217-7842.
