New Andover Directory Seeks Local Business Listings

Deadline for inclusion is September 29

A new edition of the Andover Business & Resource Directory is scheduled for publication in January 2024. The Andover Community Hub, its publisher, is asking Andover businesses, services, and nonprofit organizations to let The Hub know if they’d like to be listed and if they would like to place an ad in the directory. The deadline for inclusion is Friday, September 29.

When last published in 2016, the 88-page directory contained advertisements and contact information for 101 local businesses and resources. As in past editions, the 2024 edition will be distributed free to every mailbox in Andover.

Publication and distribution costs are covered by the ads in the directory, and the press run is expected to be 2,000 copies. As the photo shows, the 2016 edition was published by the Andover Community Association, which in 2019 joined forces with a group of residents who had purchased Andover’s old town hall a few years earlier to form The Andover Community Hub.

Listings and ads for the 2024 edition are currently being solicited. Hub volunteers are reaching out to those listed in the 2016 edition as well as to new businesses of any size — home-based businesses, artists, craftspersons, and those who provide products and services of any kind.  Businesses located in the surrounding area that provide services not found in Andover are welcome as well.

A one-line listing that includes the business name, the type of business, and contact information is provided free (although a suggested donation of $10 is much appreciated). Optional ad rates are as follows: full (8.5” x 10”) page, $75; ½ page, $40; ¼ page, $25.
