American Legion Post Replaces Flags on Andover Bridges

By Lloyd Perreault
Recently, members of the American Legion replaced the worn American Flags on both covered bridges within the town. In July of 2018 the Legion had flag mounts made and have been replacing flags as needed. In addition, plaques have been made and were installed. These plaques read as follows: “This flag of the United States of America is proudly provided and dedicated by Crosby/Gilbert-American Legion Post 101 to United States Military Veterans and Citizens of Andover, New Hampshire.”  Pictured are American Legion members Lloyd M.
