William Oscar Clark, son of Oscar Earl Clark of Greensburg and the late Ann Whittlesey Clark, was born on February 24, 1967, in New Hampshire, and passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at his home. He was 56 years of age.
Will loved camping at Pine Haven in the summer most of his life. He was an avid race fan of dirt and asphalt. He owned a few race cars over the years. He also owned a couple lawn tractors for pulling. He won quite a few races and one championship. He loved spending summers in New Hampshire and winters in Kentucky. He will be deeply missed in the racing community.
Besides his father, he is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Laurence and Tammy Clark of New Hampshire; a sister and brother-in-law, Suzanne and Keith Allen, Sr., of Donansburg; aunts and uncles, Susan Whittlesey of Washington, D.C., David and Regine Whittlesey of Maine, Jane Winn and Bruce Winn, both of Massachusetts, Alice Blevin of New Hampshire, and Ronnie Clark of Nevada; nieces and nephews, Keith, Jr. and Christy of Colorado, Darcie and Duane Crate, Andrea and Russell Christian, both of New Hampshire, Samantha Bergeron of New Hampshire, and Jason Mackey, Brian and Tiffany Clark, their son Conner, all of New Hampshire; special friend, Adam Rainwater of Greensburg; and good friend, Anita Finnell of New Hampshire.
Honoring the family’s wishes, cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation was held on October 21, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held in New Hampshire in the spring of 2024.
Note: The Clark Family lived in Andover for many years. Their children attended elementary school here. Willie, as he was known to all, was a favorite among the Andover kids while in school here and at Merrimack Valley High School. His father, Oscar, worked for a local electrician in the area for many years.
