Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2: Spring Book Sale
Stop by William A. Bachelder Library (WABL), 12 Chase Hill Road, from 9 AM – 1 PM or 4 PM – 7 PM on Friday, or 9 AM – 12 PM on Saturday, to shop our Spring Book Sale. Books, DVDs, and more will be for sale by donation. This is a great way to support our libraries and get some excellent reads for your own collection!
Saturday, March 9, 9 AM – 1PM: Mario Day Party
Celebrate everyone’s favorite Italian plumber, Mario, with Mario Kart, crafts, and other activities at the Andover Public Library (APL). This event is for all ages.
Tuesday, March 12, 4 – 7 PM : Diamond Painted Bookmarks
Come to WABL to try your hand at diamond painting. We will create beautiful bookmarks. This activity tends to be the most fun for older children and adults. Please register ahead of time by emailing the library, andovernhlibraries@nullgmail.com, or give us a call at 603 735-5076.
Saturday, March 30, at 10 AM: The Great Puzzle Race
Do you love jigsaw puzzles? We are looking for teams to participate in a puzzle race at APL! Teams of 2 to 4 individuals will race against each other to complete a 300-piece puzzle. The team to complete their puzzle the fastest will win a prize. Please register your team by March 15. Mini Art Show Comes Back to WABL!
Our 2nd annual mini art show will open on Tuesday, April 2, from 4 – 7 PM, at WABL. But first, we need some art! Mini-canvases will be available for pick-up at both libraries starting March 1 and are due back by March 30. We will also have opportunities to create art at the libraries throughout March:
Thursday, March 2, at APL, 2 – 7 PM
Saturday, March 23, at APL, 9 AM – 1PM
Tuesday, March 26, at WABL, 4- 7 PM
We are excited to see all the wonderful pieces you all will make for the art show this year! We hope you will join us for the Grand Opening on April 2 to celebrate all the artists in our community.
