I have lived in Andover for 20 years now, and have participated as a volunteer in several organizations. I began with the Alternative Energy Group at its inception and have enjoyed watching the fruits of our labor — solar panels and weatherization programs among them — as we work to lower electricity costs by promoting different energy sources and savings.

The Libraries are my major focus and have been for almost 15 years. The trustees have overseen hiring, books, and other materials’ purchasing, and building projects, all with an eye to the bottom line while continuing to serve our community in a variety of ways.

The Budget Committee is the next step. While serving as the volunteer Secretary this year, I have been privy to negotiations and discussions (and participated as a member of the public) concerning all financial aspects of town and school government. I feel well-qualified to serve, then, as an elected member for the next three years.
