A variety of new gifts for Mom at the Andover Thrift & Gift Shop.

Award-winning artist Susan Monty has a beautiful collection of original art on display at the Andover Thrift & Gift Shop. Susan’s work celebrates domestic animals, nature, wildlife, and land and seascapes. Susan also does custom pet portraits, which can be arranged on her website, www.susanmonty.com.

Stop by the shop to preview Susan’s work firsthand. You may just find the perfect gift for Mother’s Day. 

Sunapee-based Creations by Cheryl offers a sparkly array of reasonably priced, gift-boxed jewelry, spring wreaths, and hand-carved walking sticks on sale all month. Know a cross-stitch fan? Maria Casas offers a delightful selection of necklaces and magnets that have a tiny cross-stitch design inside a silver casing. Both of these artisans take pride in their work, and it shows.

Cardigan Mountain soaps, lotions, sprays, and gift sets are always in stock at the Andover Thrift & Gift Shop. All-natural insect and tick repellents are being restocked in late April/early May. Get yours before the bugs get YOU! This year Cardigan Mountain is also offering an all-natural tick repellent for dogs.  

Local gardener Anne Hewitt will again be offering decorative jars of homegrown dried herbs in many varieties, including oregano, lemon thyme, and mixed herbs. These pretty jars are perfect for gift giving, and the herbs are a tasty natural addition to your cooking. Anne will also have her catnip toys on hand, very popular with local felines.

The shop offers new and like-new décor and kitchen/dining items, artwork and signage, crafting and office supplies, and much more. Please stop by and take a look at all the nonprofit Andover Thrift & Gift Shop has to offer. The shop is located beside the Andover Elementary/Middle School, at 26 School Street, Andover. Hours of operation are Tuesday–Thursday, 10–4 PM, and Saturday 10–2 PM. 

Now accepting donations and consignments of clean spring/summer clothing items only. We do not accept footwear or housewares at this time. Please do not leave donations outside if the shop is closed. Thank you for your support.
