On Thursday, May 2, Proctor Academy will celebrate its own observance of Earth Day, including an art reception to celebrate artists Yuko Oda and Adriana G. Prat from 2-3 PM. Oda’s and Prat’s compelling artwork focuses on the subject of climate change. Live music will be performed by faculty musicians, Scott King and Amy Mathison from the band 93 North, and artists Yuko and Adriana will be present as the community honors their work in the “Alchemy of Hope” collection, now on exhibit.
Proctor Academy is excited to welcome featured local artists Debbie Campbell and Elizabeth Pieroni to campus on Monday, May 6, to engage with students during class and share their expertise. An art reception will follow, celebrating the artists and their stunning work in the collection “Apricity ”, now on exhibit in the Brown Dining Gallery, from 5:30-6:30 PM.
Please email art curator Molly Leith at leithmo@nullproctoracademy.org to reserve your space at the art reception and for details regarding viewing the collection.
