Using Essential Oils in the Garden

Press release

A workshop on Gardening with Essential Oils will be offered at The Andover Community Hub, 157 Main St., on Tuesday, July 9, at 7 PM. The class will be taught by Andover resident Tresa Rolando Salters, Certified Holistic Health Coach and Essential Oils Specialist.

Participants will learn about natural ways to deal with garden pests and how essential oils can be effective alternatives for safe, organic gardening. Salter will share recipes and tips that can be used in gardens for keeping pests away and growing healthy plants.

At this “Make and Take” workshop, participants will make a spray to keep pests away or to attract pollinators, as well as a gardener’s hand scrub, which they can take home to use.  A handout with information on oils for pests and companion planting will be included.

Interested residents can register for this workshop by contacting Salter at tresa@nulllivewellwithtresa.com. The class is limited to 15 participants and the cost is $12.
