Franklin – The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Franklin will host Climate Up Close on Saturday, August 3, 10:00 to 11:30 AM.
Climate Up Close scientists, Dr. Aaron Match (NYU), Dr. Nathaniel Tarshish (UC Berkeley), and Dr. Andrew Williams (Princeton) are committed to making the essentials of climate science accessible to a broad audience. Through the presentation, they equip people to reach their own judgments about climate science by seeing the evidence for themselves and putting their questions directly to the climate scientists. Climate Up Close is nonpartisan and policy neutral. Light refreshments and an opportunity to speak further with the scientists will follow the one- hour presentation. This event is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC.
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Franklin is located at 206 Central Street 603 934-2141.
