WILMOT – Looking for local fun and free activities? Join one of the many free classes at the Red Barn, 64 Village Road, Wilmot.

On Tuesdays at 1 – 3:30 p.m., the WCA hosts Mah Jongg. Whether you are an experienced Mah Jongger or just want to learn, feel free to drop by and play.

NEW DAY AND TIME! Join us the first Monday of each month, 12 – 1 pm., for our drop-in lunch-time get togethers. Each month, bring your bag lunch, we will provide beverages and get together with friends and neighbors at the Red Barn. Lively conversation and laughter as well as frequent local “celebrities” will be provided!.

On the second Wednesday of the month, 7 – 8:30 pm, join the Kearsarge Fiber Divas. Bring your knitting, crocheting, felting or rug hooking and enjoy the company of other crafters while you work on your project.

Every Thursday, 10 – 11:30 a.m. in partnerships with the Kearsarge Area Council on Aging (COA) we offer a guided line dancing class. It’s a great way to get in your weekly dancing!

Come share your inner artist every Thursday at 12:30 – 2 p.m., by attending our walk-in painting group. Bring your brushes, paints or other media and work on your art with other local artists. This non-guided group welcomes all levels and expertise.

On the third Friday of each month, at 5:30 p.m., join with other families for our Games Night! Video and board games plus crafts for all ages are available. We provide free pizza, beverages, and dessert.

The WCA, founded in 1963, offers free and low-cost events throughout the year. The WCA owns and operates two facilities in Wilmot – the Red Barn, a community center on Village Road, and Timmy Patten Park, a beach and playground on Shindagan Road.
