As we flip the calendar to August, preparations for the 2024-2025 school year at Proctor Academy are well underway. The first students will arrive on campus September 1, and in total 393 students will attend Proctor this year, including 117 new students. Among those new students are 65 ninth graders, including nine Andover students.

Over the course of the first week of September, Proctor’s annual Wilderness Orientation program, a program that has run continuously for 54 years, will take every new student into the White Mountains for a five day backpacking trip. This launch of the school year will be an equally exciting time for new faculty and staff members including the following individuals:
