Wilmot – The North Wilmot Union Meeting House Society (NWUMHS) will continue its
summer schedule with a program, Sunday service, and the annual Community Hymn Sing.
All events will be at the North Wilmot Church, 3 Breezy Hill Road, in North Wilmot.
Refreshments will be served after each program.

Irish Music at 4 PM, Sunday, August 4. The program, underwritten by a grant from New
Hampshire Humanities is free and open to all.

Summer activities at the North Wilmot Church will conclude at 4 PM, Sunday, August 11, with the annual Community Hymn Sing, led by the Rev. Lynne Hubley. Henry Danaher will provide
Music. The Rev. Hubley is the pastor at the Bradford Community Church. She has a Master Of Divinity from Andover Newton Theological Seminary.

When it was built in 1829, the church was known as the North Union Meeting House. It
provided worship space for five denominations: Congregational, Christian Baptist, Freewill
Baptist, Methodist, and Universalist. Known today as the North Wilmot Church, it has been
owned and maintained by the NWUMHS since 1984.

In 2022, the NWUMHS completed restoration of the windows and foundation at the North
Wilmot Church. The exterior was painted in 2023. The church is available for use by the public
for weddings, memorial services, family reunions, and other celebratory events. More information is available at northwilmotchurch.org or from Ann Davis at 603 526-6960.
