Candidate Statement – Louise Andrus for Republican State Representative

Incumbent - Merrimack District 5

By Louise Andrus

I am a New Hampshire native and live in Salisbury with my husband Ted. We have three adult children and are grandparents of four.

I come to you, the voter, as an Incumbent and conservative candidate in the House of  Representatives for Merrimack County District 5 — Andover, Danbury, Hill, Salisbury, and Webster.

Louise Andrus, incumbent candidate for Republican State Representative Merrimack District 5.

I am honored to serve the people of my district here and now, while working to preserve New Hampshire for future generations. My voting record may be found at gencourt.state.nh.us/nhgcrollcalls.

My positions have been, and continue to be:  pro second amendment, pro law enforcement, pro veteran, pro gun, pro school choice, pro life, pro limited government, and pro small business.

I will always defend and uphold the United States and New Hampshire Constitutions.  I am a voice for the citizens of my District and fight for all citizens and the “Live Free or Die” we stand for.

I pledge to vote against an income tax, sales tax, and any tax increases for the citizens or business owners of New Hampshire.

I will always stand with, and for, Parental rights, which means any and all decisions that relate to their child. The Parent(s) and the parent(s) alone make decisions for that child. The only exception is HB 619, which I supported as it is an act to require a person to attain the age of majority for genital gender reassignment surgery.
