ANDOVER — The Cha Cha is a fun, playful, Latin dance originating in Cuba. Anyone who would like to learn or practice this dance is invited to register for a series of classes, offered the first four Friday evenings in November (1, 8, 15, 22), 7 to 8 PM, at The Andover Community Hub. Participants will learn to dance to both traditional Cha Cha music and to more contemporary artists, such as Smash Mouth, Rob Thomas, and Michael Buble.
Singles as well as couples, and dancers at all skill levels, are welcome. The series will be taught by Laura Kiefer and Gary Stanhope of Hidden Door Dance Studio in Elkins, who have previously taught several popular social dance classes at The Hub. The fee for the series is $40 per person, payable at the first class.
Participants are asked to wear shoes with smooth soles, such as leather. To register for the series, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or leave a message at 603 735-5509. The Hub is located at 157 Main Street, Andover.
