On the evening of September 18, the Friends of the Northern Rail Trail’s (FNRT) Board of Directors and special guests attended FNRT’s Fourteenth Self-congratulatory Potluck Supper in the lovely Andover Barn at Highland Lake Inn. One of the evening’s highlights was the unveiling of FNRT’s new logo.

New logo for Friends of the Northern Rail Trail.

This logo project was led from start to finish by FNRT Promotion Committee’s Barbara Couturier of Highland Lake. Look for the new logo to appear on all things FNRT starting October 1, 2024: FNRT communications, its website and other online platforms, merchandise, and giveaways at FNRT booth gigs.

Seen in the photos is the FNRT gang gathering at innkeepers Gail and Pecco Beaufays’s beautifully restored barn with its starry, overhead lighting and wide, covered, open-air spaces. “It was just the right spot for a delightful evening of sharing delicious dishes, schmoozing, and acknowledging special volunteers with clapping and cheers,” Co-President Lindy Heim commented.
