Most of us want to be able “to age in place” as we get older and to continue to be as
independent as possible. Suggestions for the steps one can take to “age-proof” one’s home, to
make it safer and to adapt it to the changing needs that come with age, will be offered in a
presentation on Wednesday, November 6, at 10 AM, at The Andover Community Hub.
Eryn Sellarole, an Occupational Therapist and Certified Aging in Place Specialist with the Lake
Sunapee Region Visiting Nurse Association, will lead a discussion on the impact of falls — an
increased hazard to independence as one ages — as well as what can be done to prevent
them. She will offer tangible solutions to increase your safety and the likelihood of
successfully aging in your own home.
Everyone is welcome, the program is free, and refreshments will be served. For information,
contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com or 603 735-5509 and leave a message.
