SUTTON — Kearsarge Regional School District Board Members are waiting for the results of a study of the school buildings to put a price tag on fixing the roofs. The high school roof seems to be in the worst shape, but according to the study, all schools were found to be in need of significant repairs. Preliminary estimates put the cost as high as $6 million per roof.
The district began a comprehensive review of the facilities last April and will present voters with a plan and costs to repair the roofs next March. The review, which is not yet complete, found significant problems with the high school roof, including leaking, structural issues, and code
