AE/MS Offers an Open Window into their School Day

School to share daily activities via Facebook

By Kasey Schoch

Things have been really buzzing this school year at AE/MS. A new principal, the first new second-grade teacher in decades, shifting of the fifth-grade class to the middle school teaching team, and more extracurricular opportunities are all cause for excitement. Some members of the school team couldn’t contain all the great things happening in the walls of the building and decided it was time to share all the activity with the community through social media.

Closely monitored by Principal Kelly George, several members of the staff are helping to spread the joy and amazing learning activities that happen each day at AE/MS. Anyone following the page will get to see the students participating in classes with great class speakers in Social Studies, creating the amazing works of art (and other classwork) that grace the halls, exploring different STEM activities, participating in a mentoring program, or working on science labs —to name a few!

All of the online posts are timely, typically shown to the community within 24 hours or less of the classroom or school activity taking place. The school staff would love to invite you all to check out the exciting things happening, by following them on Facebook at Andover Elementary Middle School, and please encourage your family members to do the same! There is no better way to fill your feed than with all the wonderful, smiling faces at AE/MS.
