Thursday, December 5th: Holiday Hygge Night at the Andover Public Library, from 7 to 9 PM.
Come relax before the holiday season at our after-hours Hygge Night! We’ll have low lighting, relaxing music, crafts, snacks, and more to help you de-stress. This event is free and open to all.
Wednesday, December 11th: Bachelder Book Club discusses Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver, at the William A. Bachelder Library, at 7 PM. Come discuss this Pulitzer Prize-winning book. Copies of the book are available at both libraries.
Friday, December 13th: Winter Family Formal at the ACC Grange Hall, from 6 to 8 PM. Join us for an evening of dancing, games, and family fun at our first Winter Family Formal! We’ll have snacks, a hot chocolate bar, and a family photo booth as well. This event is free, but registration is required on our website: www.andovernhlibraries.org.
Thursday, December 19th: Gift Wrapping Night at the Andover Public Library, from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Need to wrap those holiday gifts without your children and loved ones seeing? We have the solution for you! Bring your kiddos to the library where we’ll keep them busy with a special evening of activities.
Meanwhile, you can visit our fully stocked gift wrapping station in the Town Office, complete with wrapping helpers. Then, you can either run your gifts home to hide them or we’ll help you disguise them in your car! Tuesday, December 31st: Noon Year’s Eve Party at the William A. Bachelder Library, from 10:30 AM to 12 noon. Count down to the New Year with us! Enjoy tasty snacks, fun activities, and our 12 PM balloon drop! This event is free and open to all, but please register on our website: www.andovernhlibraries.org.
The William A. Bachelder Library and the Andover Public Library will be closed on December 24 and 25. The William A. Bachelder Library will close at 12 PM on December 31, and both libraries will be closed on January 1, 2025. Thank you for supporting our library events all year long!
