The people have spoken! Incumbent Representatives Deborah Aylward, Louise Andrus, and Alvin See retain their House seats, along with Dan Innis, his Senate seat. Republicans will retain their majority in the House, with an additional 21 seats. According to Speaker Packard, this is the first time in 20 years that a party has maintained a majority for three consecutive terms.

While visiting the polls, I observed a steady stream of Republicans and like-minded Independents arrive, some of them elderly and quite infirm, but they made it to the polls anyway!  It was heartening to see parents with children in tow and what seemed like record-breaking first time registrations. Congratulations to conservative members of the Merrimack District 5 communities for preserving common sense values and electing representatives who will work to make the public good a priority and protect the Constitution.  

And now, the work begins! Republicans will fight to make life more affordable; keep families safe; protect the northern border and prevent Sanctuary cities; be champions for parental, veterans, and gun owners’ rights; uphold the current abortion laws, and assure new laws are fair, reasonable, and just.

I want to thank the many volunteers who assisted me with my win, from helping to place and remove campaign signs; hosting, or holding signs at the polling places; manning event booths; providing moral support — and more! God bless the State of New Hampshire, its inhabitants, and America.
