ANDOVER — Kathy Lowe, New London singer-songwriter, headlines the Andover Community Coffeehouse, Friday, December 20, at 7 PM. The monthly Coffeehouse is held at the Highland Lake Grange Hall in East Andover.
Lowe creates music that is personal, universal, and fun. She’ll perform original holiday favorites from her CD, “Wishing You Peace,” in addition to songs of peace and well-being for the winter season. Lowe performs on guitar, dulcimer, and drum, and her vaudeville/circus family background shows in her sense of humor and ways of encouraging her audience to sing along.
Music begins at 7 PM, although the doors open at 6 PM for food, sound checks, and up to five open mic sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free, although the hat will be passed and generous donations are encouraged, to be shared with the featured act.
