ANDOVER — We’re all hearing more and more about artificial intelligence these days — or “AI,” as it’s increasingly called — but many of us don’t have much idea of what it’s all about and how it works. Area residents are invited to join Spencer Corkran, who teaches in the Proctor Academy Technology Department, for a presentation on the basics of AI, to be held at The Andover Community Hub, on Monday, February 17, at 7 PM.
Corkran’s talk will cover how AI actually works, how it’s increasingly being used in a variety of applications in science, business, and everyday life, how we may be encountering it, as well as its limitations, to be followed by an opportunity for questions. The evening is free of charge and refreshments will be served.
The Hub is located at 157 Main Street., Andover, and welcomes all area residents. For more information about The Hub, contact TheAndoverHub@nullgmail.com, leave a message at 603 735-5509, or visit andoverhub.org.
