Franklin Theatre Group Presented A Christmas Carol

The musical play ran four showings

FRANKLIN — On a cold winter weekend (December 6 through 9), at Franklin Middle School, the FHS Players presented four showings of the musical version of the classic A Christmas Carol. Until the Franklin Opera House opens again, our community theater group has to use any stage available. I applaud our Director, Julie C. Finley, and the whole production team for a wonderful performance.

On this smaller stage the many actors (45 strong) used the space wisely and every song and actor, from Scrooge (RJ Soboslai) to Tiny Tim (Frankie Genus) and everyone in between, gave a thrilling, emotion-filled, and captivating show. The actors appeared to keep everyone’s attention throughout.

If you weren’t one of the lucky ones to attend, please put it on your calendar for their next performance. I want to applaud everyone involved in this production, from the stage/production team to the actors. A job well done!
