WILMOT — I support Jonathan Schwartz for a second three-year term on the Wilmot Board of Selectmen. In addition to his excellent work during his first term on the selectboard, Jonathan actively supports an array of organizations in town. He loves Wilmot and clearly understands that building community requires energy, engagement, and enthusiasm.
You’ll see him at Wilmot Volunteer Fire Department breakfasts, the Wilmot Public
Library programs, purchasing goods from vendors at the Wilmot Farmers Market, baking pies for the Wilmot Community Association’s (WCA) Pie Breakfast, buying plants at the Wilmot Garden Club Plant Sale, or volunteering to pick up trash along town roads during Green Up Wilmot. If there’s an event in Wilmot, you can count on seeing Jonathan.
His commitment to ensuring that Wilmot is a wonderful place to live extends well
beyond his work as an elected official. Participating in these events, while not listed in his duties as a Selectboard Member, ensures that he is aware of residents’ concerns. Through this contact with residents, he also learns about issues that might not be raised at Selectboard meetings.
He is actively engaged in working on behalf of all of us. That’s why I’ll be voting for
Jonathan Schwartz on March 11. I hope you will, too.
