Potter Place Festival on June 28; save the date

ANDOVER — Plans are well underway for several events for the upcoming season. Please mark your calendars. We hope you will join us at one or all of the following special events:

Opening Weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25. Memorial Day weekend, the Potter Place Railroad and Emons Store Museums and Gift Shop will open for the season, weekends through early October.

New Hampshire’s World War II Hero Raymond Allo Cole, presented by Mary Jane Peabody. Friday, June 6, 7 PM, Stone Chapel, 194 Main Street, Andover. 

Potter Place Festival, Saturday, June 28, 9 AM–3 PM. This year’s festival will feature demonstrations, vendors, food, music, petting zoo, pony rides, and children’s games. Join us for a day of free family-friendly fun! Email bonnymmorris@nullgmail.com if you are interested in reserving a vendor spot.

Frederick Douglass Community Reading, Saturday, June 28, 12 PM, in Potter Place. Co-sponsored by The Black Heritage Trail of New Hampshire and in partnership with The Hub and Proctor Academy.
