March Coffeehouse Presents Scott Heron and the Treetellers

ANDOVER — The New Hampshire-based Americana string band, The Treetellers, will be featured at the Friday, March 21, Andover Community Coffeehouse, playing original tunes, Appalachian mountain music, country blues, and newgrass. The monthly Coffeehouse is held at the Highland Lake Grange Hall in East Andover, with music beginning at 7 PM.

The band includes Scott Heron — a past Coffeehouse favorite as part of Green Heron — on claw-hammer banjo, mandolin, and vocals; Joey Clark on guitar, harmonica, and lead vocal; and Larry Houghton on upright bass and back-up vocals. Doors open at 6 PM for food, sound checks, and up to five open mic sign-ups on a first-come, first-served basis. Admission is free, although the hat will be passed for donations for the featured act.
