The Beacon Offers Franklin a Section for their News

Franklin's tangible news: the “Trestle Times”

Press release

ANDOVER/FRANKLIN — Franklin now has a newspaper presence, thanks to collaboration with The Beacon (of Andover), through the work of local resident Randy Kovach. Randy approached The Beacon with the idea of dedicating a portion of its monthly paper to news from Franklin, and the Trestle Times was born. This section was launched in the February edition, with seven pages dedicated to news from the neighboring city.

Randy hit the ground running, seeking out several community members he felt would have an interest in contributing to Trestle Times. Thanks to several local writers, you will find informative articles about things happening in your community.

The Beacon is published at the beginning of each month. It is available through a subscription and can be sent right to your home, or you can access the articles online. Free copies are also distributed to various businesses in downtown Franklin. Local businesses support this paper through ads, and individuals can donate.

Visit andoverbeacon.com and consider taking out a subscription to support this great resource. Also, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, tax-deductible donations make up a large portion of our support and are very much appreciated. Subscriptions or donations can be paid for on our website, or checks can be mailed to Community Publishing of Andover, Inc., PO Box 149, Andover, NH 03216.
