ANDOVER — Douglas J. Black, 54, of O’Neil Drive, died suddenly Sunday, February 16, at his home. He was born in Concord and was an average guy who loved the outdoors and helping others when needed.

He is survived by his fiance of five years,Tanya Holmes, of Andover; his parents, James and Donna (Sawyer) Black, of Florida; his son, Seth Kennedy, of Rochester, New Hampshire; his daughters, Sarah Dexter, of Vermont, and Ashley Dexter, of Dover, New Hampshire; eight grandchildren; a brother, Peter Black, and a sister, Jennifer Moholoand.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
