Andover Service Club Awards Six Scholarships

By Diane Rice, Chairperson, ASC Scholarship Committee

The Andover Service Club has just completed its Scholarship Program for the 2013-2014 academic year. We are delighted to announce that a total of $7,500 was given to six very deserving students.

To be considered for a scholarship, the applicants must have a close, personal tie to the town of Andover. The awards are made on the basis of academic performance, character attributes, and community involvement.

The Andover Service Club would like to thank all those who submitted applications. Each application reflected many fine attributes and diverse interests.

I would like to thank personally all the Andover Service Club members for their help in raising funds to allow this program to continue. I know, too, that we thank all community members who support our Club’s projects. This is what makes our scholarship program possible!

The Andover Service Club wishes all who participated in our program success and happiness in their future endeavors.
