Andover Energy Group at the Old Time Fair

Past meets future with power from the sun

The Andover Historical Society's Old Time Fair featured two solar-electric panels assembled by Ken Wells, a member of the Andover Energy Group. Similar in function to panels installed on several local homes, the solar panels captured energy from the sun to power several light bulbs, home appliances, and a small water fountain at an information booth staffed by the Energy Group. Ken (in the straw hat) discusses light-bulb array with Energy Group member Vicky Mishcon (standing at table) and her husband Jon (at right). Photo and caption: Larry Chase
